SAUER has foreseen the trend in the outdoors and was the first premium gun-maker who offered special rifles for women. “Artemis” is the magic word when SAUER addresses the huntresses, and now the SAUER 404 scores with all the benefits, too. 404. Burkhard Bonarius, Marketing-Manager at SAUER und Artemis knows: “USP’s like manual cocking safety, flexibility and modularity features, that are highly appreciated by ambitious huntresses.” Especially the ideally positioned cocking lever makes it very easy for women to push it into the fire position. But Bonarius sees the biggest benefit in the revolutionary Quattro trigger concept: Not only the four trigger pulls but especially the length- and radial-adjustable trigger blade provide perfect “fit and hit” for smaller hands.
The only change in comparison to the Normal S 404 is the butt stock that follows the well accepted ErgoLux Compact-stock of the SAUER 101 Artemis. So again the pistol grip supports perfect trigger engagement for smaller hands and the reduced LOP allows a perfect position in the shoulder.
