Lucas Micallef has officially taken a new role, the 28 year old hunting and outdoor journalist will be representing the Swedish clothing manufacturer, Pinewood AB, as a brand ambassador. Lucas for the past months has been already familiar with the exceptional outdoor gear as he has been using during several hunting trips across Europe.

He is born in the Mediterranean island of Malta, which the passion and dedication for the outdoor has been inherited from his ancestors, encouraged him to explore and experience sustainable hunting practices all over Europe.


He has coordinated several episodes for Fieldsports channel and for Italy’s Caccia TV. Where this experience led Lucas to get more involved in the outdoor media world. He then continued sharing and publishing articles on important online portals and magazine publications such as Caccia Passione, Caccia in Fiera and Diana.

The ambition then continued, where in 2014 he has officially joined Team Wild and has been collaborating by sharing his experiences onto their dedicated portal and social media. In 2015 he was then appointed as a Pro-team member for the leading outdoor camouflage pattern designer Realtree Global.

Whether he is stalking deer in the UK, shooting over driven boar in Hungary or working his gun-dogs in Italy, his feedback to develop the best outdoor gear in the market has got invaluable important to the brand.Testing different gear in different conditions, will help Pinewood R&D be always a step ahead in the market.

Lucas will be visiting major important outdoor fairs and exhibitions across Europe, to meet and share his experiences of using Pinewood gear to the respective visitors.
